Texas House of Representatives, District 64 : ウィキペディア英語版 | Texas House of Representatives, District 64 District 64 is a district of the Texas House of Representatives that serves a portion of Denton County. The current representative for District 64 is Republican Myra Crownover, who has served the district since 2000 when she was selected to complete the unexpired term left by her late husband, local veterinarian Dr. Ronny Crownover, who died in March 2000. ==District description (after 2000 Census)== After the 2000 Census the district was realigned. The current District 64 is located wholly within Denton County. It is one of three serving Denton County. In terms of geography it runs diagonally from Denton in the northwest end to The Colony in the southeast, and includes nearly all of the area surrounding Lewisville Lake. Major cities in the district include Denton, The Colony, Corinth, Shady Shores, Lake Dallas. Hickory Creek, Little Elm, Lakewood Village, and Oak Point. District 64 also includes the University of North Texas, Texas Woman's University, and the Denton County campus of North Central Texas College.
